Go into the account section of the app  (it looks like a business card) and select "set up a device". Choose ionic and it will ask if you want to replace your existing fitbit. Just say yes and follow the prompts. All your data, settings etc will be retained.

I simply removed the device and then set it up as a new device, just to avoid any possible conflicts, but as @SteveH suggested you can do it that way too 😉
