ionic not working

I've had my ionic for almost a year, a few small glitches but I really liked it.  Wore it in the shower, swimming, no problems till 2 days ago.  Went for a swim, all good, came back to shower and my Ionic quit working.  Tried to plug it into the charger cable and had no display.  Tried all of the suggestions on the community pages, had my fitbit in rice for 2 days and still not working.  I bought this Ionic new off of a ebay site so probably don't have a warranty.  Does Fitbit take them in for repair or will I have to buy a new one?

Hi, @bobjamison97, unfortunately there are no repair centres or official options for repairing Fitbits, and if you bought it from eBay you won't be covered under warranty.  

 

You could try leaving it in rice another couple of days and then once it has had a good charge giving it another restart or factory reset.

Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android
