Unfortunately the ionic switches of when i try to start update. Only removing/reconnecting charger or reset enables restart. But all settings done seems to be lost. Trying this since 1 day. NO chance to get this crap up and running.

It's great to have you here @Leander! There are some requirements you need to have in order for your Ionic to properly update the firmware:
- Make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi before starting the update process
- Charge your battery while it's connected to Wi-Fi
- Don't use Bluetooth to update the firmware, it can take a while to complete the process
If you're using a mobile device, try using a computer or vice versa.
Hope this helps!

i hardly guess you did not get the point. i cant connect to wifi.
1) btw. the ionic will not connect to any computer
2 i tryed below every day since i got this crap:
a) ionic goes off before setup completed. switching on again not settings are stored...
b) retry, same result as a)
c) retry, same result as a)
: several hours later
d) retry after 30 times, same result as a)
frustrating!

I requested a trouble ticket. After repeating all steps failing, the replacement got initialized. My IONIC was approx. 3 months old.
Since the replacement my IONIC is doing a well job.
