best solution: request a replacement, Fitbit doesn't provide repair services, so if you cant fixed with them over the phone their only solution is to replace it, if you are out of warranty they will offer you a discount coupon, with this you can get from 25% to 40% off, so you can buy and waste another $150 on a new Ionic to use for the next 18 months (AVG life span of these watches)
