my ionic died and wont turn back on

hi!

so my Ionic died, and when i went to charge it as usual, nothing happened..? normally the screen turns back on right away but this time, nothing.

 

any tips?

Hi @emil080b,

Did the battery go flat?

If it did, the battery (especially an aging battery) may have dropped below the minimum voltage your charger is capable of charging the device from.

Try another charger - particularly a fast charger such as a QC3.0 compliant charger. This may provide extra charging current to kickstart a depleted battery.

 

Could be something totally unrelated though?

 

Have you pressed and held the 3 buttons for 10-15 seconds whilst it's on the charger till the logo appears?

I think you then take your finger off the bottom right button - keeping the top right and back button pressed until it boots up.
