my ionic not responding

got my ionic for Christmas and after I turned it on to sync with fitbit app and phone it wont go pass flashing in different languages telling me to set up. Can't get it turned off or change screens

Did you open app and add your new device?

I tried but when I go into app to set up new device it doesn't show ionic

I have the same problem. Still on welcome screen. I have sucessfully added and sync the tracker but all it shows is the initial "Hi! Get started" does anyone know how to get past this?

On the bottom of page on your app where you see your devices there should be an option to add a new device

I would try a couple things. Delete app and reinstall. If that doesn’t work click on the ionic that you have synced already and click replace and reinstall the watch again.

I eventually got it working. I restarted phone and blue tooth, Unpaired the Fitbit and reset the watch. It worked on the 27th attempt as I kept getting 'Update failed' or "Cannot connect please restart Bluetooth" messages. Seems to be working okay now - just very frustrating to take two days to get it to even show the time!
