I've only had my Ionic for less than a month and it doesn't work anymore! It does not charge-- tried charging with USB port; tried charging with wall charger; tried charging thru desktop/laptop. No light to indicate any power. It's practically still new!

Hi, @jeescalante, have you tried cleaning the charging contacts?  Here’s how:

  1. Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device to ensure they stay bronze or gold in color: Use a toothbrush with rubbing alcohol. Dry with a cloth or tissue before charging. ...
  2. Clean the pins on your charging cable: Clean the pins carefully with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol.

Also, sometimes folks think that their Fitbit isn’t charging when it has actually simply become unresponsive.  This can happen particularly if the battery has been allowed to die completely.  So once you have cleaned the contacts, put it back on charge (a wall charger is fine as long as it is UL/ CE certified - the charging plug that originally came with your cell phone is ideal, as long as it will accept a USB cable).  Give it a good 2 hours charge, even if it does not seem to be charging.

When it has been plugged in for two hours, give it a restart:

  1. Press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

You may need to repeat the rstart a couple of times, but with luck it should spring back to life.

If this procedure doesn’t work, please post again and a moderator will be along to let you know the next steps to sort this out for you.
