There’s a pop out in the screen that says it requires the internet permission to be granted. Can’t seem to take it out. Tried resetting, turning off & on the unit. Checking on each & every Fitbit app on my phone to check if I missed an update but still to no avail. Hope you could help me. Thanks in advance

Set it up again as a new device and then when it gets to the "WiFi Setup", follow the instructions.
