"Unlock with your phone" message

All of a sudden I am knlock out. I get the normal clock face I have set up when I look to see what time is it, but if I try to access, instead of asking for my 4 digit code, I get a message: Unlock with your phone.

I cannot find a way to unlock it using the app on my phone. Also HR is not displaying a number anymore. Coincidental?

Hello @Speedsk8r this occurs after several failed attempts to unlock an Ionic.

You will need to open the Fitbit AP on the phone and change the lock code. Them toy should set the code top only lock the wallet and not the whole watch.

How do I use the device lock on my Fitbit device?

Thank you for that information. I must say that the information, is not
entirely clear.
Selecting the Account Icon does not then present you directly with a
"Device Lock"
option to select. Instead, you must select your device (Ionic in this case)
and
then scroll down to find device lock option. If you click on it and nothing
happens,
you will need to select "Use Passcode" in order to get to the change or
deactivate
the passcode. In my case, I am using a Samsung S7Edge with fingerprint
sensor,
and if you try to use this, it will simply dump you back to the previous
screen
with the Device Lock option still showing Activated.

Thank you for the response, I was successful in getting my phone unlocked.
Now if I can figure out why I am not getting any HR indication. I have
cleaned it.
