Just wondering.
Some 10 months ago I entered the magical world of FitBit when I treated myself with a Blaze.
Last week it was time for an upgrade, and I got me an Ionic.
Obviously I'm a happy inhabitant of the FitBit universe only one question popped up today.
This morning I got a " your nnnnn battery level is low " notification via E-Mail.
Nothing out of the ordinary as I got used to these kind of msges. And experience learned me that such a mail in the morning would mean that some 8 hrs later the charge level would be in the 'red' zone.
Only when I checked this afternoon the charge level of my Ionic was 17%, not a level what I consider to be low.
Is there a specific reason for this early warning system for the Ionic?
Does anyone know?

It seems that this weekend Fitbit made a change, as requested by some Fitbit users to have the low battery notification sent earlier.
BTW your ionic has a lithium battery and should not be allowed to get much below 30% so yes your 17% is low

Thanks Rich for letting me know.
Understand what you are saying, only one thing:
E-Mail was received around 07:45 hrs and the 17% remaining capacity was some 8 hrs later.
So I suppose that for the Ionic the threshold for sending out these ' warning' e-mails will be somewhere between 25 and 20% remaining battery capacity.
Which is good to know as now I know that whenever I go for a 2+ hrs GPS tracked cycling or walking trip I need to have at least a 50% remaining battery capacity
