replacement won't start up

Just got my replacement ionic due to a damaged screen on my previous one.  The new one has been charging for over three hours.  At first it turned on but then only stayed on logo screen.  I rest it a few times.  Still stuck on logo screen.  Now it will not turn on at all.    I know how to start an ionic by holding the two buttons down.  But that is not working.  very frustrated.

actually now it has turned back on and is stuck on the logo.  I am scared to try to restart it again because it is hard to get back on!!
