transferring info from my fitbit to strave

hi

I just got a fit bit and I am trying to work it with my strava 

I swam 1000m but nothing shows on my strava account 

I have linked the fitbit to strava I think I must be missing something

can anyone help?

@merrickakamel I had a feeling that to be transferred to Strava, activities needed GPS data, and having looked on their website I found the following - 

 

Activities that will not transfer to Strava:
Only new activities will sync automatically after creating the connection. If you wish to export a previous activity from Fitbit and upload it directly to Strava, please refer to Fitbit's instructions on data export.
Activities with no GPS data and duplicate activities will not sync to Strava.

 

Assuming your swim didn’t have GPS data, that’ll be the reason why it didn’t transfer.
