I am on IOS regarding APP, both on my iPad and my Iphone - get a lot of updates, but never problems after. I sync every morning.

I noticed in the forum, that many people have serious problems syncing the Ionic. Me too! The day before yesterday I got a firmware update (new version 27.31.1.16), but I am very much disappointed that Fitbit as far as my judgement, hasn't done anything on this very serieus problem. Connection in general is very unstable: sometimes it syncs, sometimes it doesn't. Same is true for the many (new) apps. For example; I was just a second ago switching off some of my Hue lamps. Without me moving around it suddenly says there is no bridge available. I have a new clockface in which the temperature and present location should be presented. Most of the time, that just doens't happen. Please Fitbit, you make me very happy when you solve this serious problem. I sync with a Samsung Tab S (that should be fully compatible) and a Sony Xperia Aqua M4 model E2333 (that is not listed compatible, the elder model M2 is).

That's what I'm going through now. Last night it said there was a update and hasn't worked or synced since. Very frustrating!!!!

I have had most of the problems reported here and took it back today to the store that I bought it from in November and received a full refund.   My old Charge HR after a charge connected beautifully and continues to sync nicely so far.

So what is it with the lovely new Ioniq?   I am very disappointed as I so much prefer it to the Apple Series 3  but not enough to suffer software problems!

Jeh, this bad it can become.

Strangely enough I don't see any interference from Fitbit is this thread promising to solve all the problems.... As I don't have another tracker, I pursue using the Ionic, still hoping for the better.

Returned my first Ionic, it had tiny little chips taken out of the finish along the edge of the screen right out of the box. Second one, I found this topic because as soon as I activated it, numerous, repeated "unable to connect" errors in the iPhone app. the left button+lower right reset didn't do the trick. Thankfully it's acting right, now...

On the Fitbit app you can add or delete your Fitbit. I think he means he means he deleted his Fitbit from the app and then added it back on.

Hi, best you can do is to check if your phone is supported by your ionic watch. I myself have a new phone and that helped a lot. Even though it is not listed as supported. Google for fitbit supported devices. Good luck!

I contacted Fitbit asking for the development department to enable my Sony. Got very nice messages back but in the end all in vane. My guess, they have put their effort in developping the new Versa watch. You could try the same, sorry that I cant do any more for you.

So last week I had troubles with my ionic syncing. I’ve only the ionic for 1 month and started to have problems. I tried everything and even dumped the Fitbit app to start the process of setting up the ionic again. Now, the app says it found my ionic but keeps cycling “connecting to tracker”... this has been going on for a week! Very frustrating! What can I do?
