Add Yoga to the exercise shortcuts on Luxe

Under my account, on my Fitbit Luxe, I added yoga as an exercise shortcut. I have updated my phone, updated my Fitbit app & my tracker, synced everything, and yet “Yoga” still won’t show up as an exercise shortcut on my Daily Exercise record under “Today.” My yoga workout is never auto recognized. And then, when I go to manually log my session, I have to type “yoga” in the search bar and click on it to add the workout. Every. Single. Day. As if I’ve never done yoga before. I do yoga every day. WHY won’t it show up as a shortcut on my app when I’ve added it to my Luxe on my Fitbit account?? Any help is appreciated!! 🧘‍:female_sign:😊

Not sure this will help you, but you are talking about 3 different things, and perhaps somewhat confusing them.

1) Auto-recognized activities.  There is a set list of activities Fitbit hopes it can auto-recognize, based solely on the movement pattern of your wrist.  You cannot add to this list, though you can remove some activities, preventing them from being auto-recognized, perhaps incorrectly.  You can see this list on phone app by tapping 'days of exercise' tile, then gear icon near top right.  Yoga is not in that list so can never be auto-recognized.

2) Exercise shortcuts.  These are relevant only when you use the Exercise App on wrist to record exercise session as it happens, the most reliable and best way to record exercise sessions.  The Exercise Shortcuts are the options shown on wrist in the Exercise app.  There are about 20 possible options to choose from, though only about 6 can be available at one time on your. wrist.  See How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?  for the list of about 20 options, and how to change which show on wrist.

3)  Manually logging a workout after it is completed.  The only reason to ever use this is that you were not actually wearing your tracker during the workout.  Using this option overwrites any heart rate data that was actually recorded.  I never use this and would not even bother to give advice on entering workout type.
