Alarms on Luxe--why no app option?

I'm just wondering why there is no option to set alarms for the Luxe device using the app on my phone. I find that so much easier than setting them on the device itself. It seems odd to me that they removed it from the app.

The only way I’ve been able to set up an alarm on my Luxe is on the device itself. And yet, the alarms never go off! I’ve contacted Fitbit support three times about this. I’ve gone through all the troubleshooting. I returned my first Luxe and bought a replacement, and the problem remains. It turns out, alarms simply do not work on the Luxe! Fitbit support has acknowledged this issue to me but as of today, they tell me they still don’t have a fix for it.

 

I’m extremely disappointed, as I have depended upon silent alarms to wake me up during the week (and not disturb my spouse). The alarm is a basic feature that previous Fitbits have offered for years. So why can’t Fitbit get alarms to work on the Luxe? Sadly, I’ll be returning my second Luxe and won’t buy another until I know the problem has been fixed. 

 

I’ve also seen nothing about this issue in Luxe reviews, which is surprising.
