Anyone actually happy with Luxe?

Hi, I'd like a new sleep & activity tracker/watch/timer, preferably Luxe cause it's small. Fitbit still seems to be the best at sleep tracking, however after reading all the complaints about new fitbits I am concerned xD It seems like they are all defective, or you have to sync it every evening before bed to track sleep... Not just Luxe but charge 5 too...

Has anyone had Luxe for close to a year and is happy with it and battery life?

My versa 1 lasted 3+ years and still hold charge for 2 days.

Hi @naofomi I have had my Luxe for close to a year, and although it isn't my everyday tracker (mainly because my older eyes struggle to read the smallish screen) it is still working well and I have had no problems with it at all. If I wore my glasses all the time I would wear the Luxe more often, but as my eyes cope with most things without glasses I can't see wearing them just to read my step count! So I mostly use my Sense, but the Luxe ticks most boxes for me. It is a very elegant tracker, not too big and has worked well whenever I use it. Mine is certainly not defectiveand the battery life remains excellent!

Very unhappy! We’ve had one replacement already. The first Luxe kept coming undone, plus the battery died within a day. Unfortunately the replacement also keeps coming undone, although the battery problem has been solved. In hindsight we would never have purchased a Fitbit Luxe.

I've had mine less than 2 months, and am on the second one.  Yesterday it was stuck at 330 steps, it did start counting when I restarted it (although by then the battery was pretty flat).  It is really disappointing compared to my alta HR which was almost 5 years old (still worked but the screen was a bit dim/hard to read, so i figured it was on its way out) - I liked the luxe because it looked quite subtle and more like jewellery, especially the silver one with a silver strap.  If it breaks after 28 days, although it has a 2 year guarantee, the seller can't replace, and you go through fitbit and if deemed its really broken, you can get a replacement or 30% off a different fitbit tracker (an interesting cost model to address a fault on something so new!)

I’ve had mine for 1 year - every month or so it loses its mind and will no longer synch. Chat is rude at best when they “help”. Mine won’t synch and hasn’t for 10 days. It is going to be tossed and I will go for an Apple Watch. I have used fitbits for > 6 years. This has been an awful experience.

I just got mine and was so excited for the sleep tracking. I just received it from Amazon about 5 days ago and didn't think to check this site until now... I hope I do not end up regretting purchasing the luxe because so far I love it...

There are a number of features about the Luxe that, for my requirements, make it the best product I think is out there.

+ its one of the smallest trackers (I have small wrists) and has a very high quality colour screen

+ the device is metal which makes it a lot more durable and resilient to damage (I am also clumsy)

+ so far (touch wood) mine has synchronised fine and is relatively accurate for tracking when I exercise and heart rate zones

+ 5 day battery life is great (compared to my previous fitbit which only managed 2-3 days)

There are a number of features which I would love some improvements on, but these are not deal breakers for me:

- Clock faces all have big ‘clocks’ - a data only face for those of us which wear watches would be tremendously appreciated

- SpO2 is not available as a instant reading but only overnight

In short, yes I am happy with the luxe; I’d buy it again and happily recommended to others.

We hope you don’t have the same issues that we have encountered . We have resorted to superglueing the bracelet in place on my wife’s Fitbit Luxe.

I’ve had mine for 7 or 8 months and I had been completely happy with it until the recent update. I used to wear it all the time and just put it on the charger when I was in the shower, now the battery doesn’t last 8 hours and it’s not tracking steps or sleep which are the two things I bought it for. I’m very frustrated with it.

Not really happy with the Luxe. I regret not getting the Sense.
It is a pretty tracker, I'll give it that.
I have the Luxe for 13 months now. There are multiple things that are disappointing (to me):

  • A prior update changed the font size (from small to bigger) and I really wished they had created an option for this. The text is too large for my liking, a lot of the text is cut-off / rendered outside the viewport.
  • I bought the Luxe on the premise there was a weather app. This was advertised wrongly, unfortunately and there is no weather app.
  • I don't like any of the clock faces, they're childish and not practical (sorry design team). I wish I could create my own with Fitbit Studio but that's not possible with the Luxe.
  • In general, I think I expected more frequent feature releases or updates from a company like Fitbit, but they are sparse. There is so much potential that is left untapped. Feature requests are dismissed all the time.

I've had mine for over a year. I do not recommend if you are looking to have all its features functional. If all you want is sleep or heart rate tracking, it does that fairly well. You will need to sync to your phone to actually read the stats. Everything else is a battle to get it to work. Just FYI, this last update stopped my alarm from working. It was glitchy before, now it doesn't work at all. My normal tricks haven't fixed it yet. I keep missing my pills because I depend on the gentle buzz to alert me.

I too have had a replacement but the battery life doesn’t seem good. Never had any problems with my Alta Hr. I’d think twice about purchasing Luxe knowing what I know now

Luxe is complete garbage.  I do not recommend.  I have had several different Fitbits.  This one looks the best aesthesically,  but is terrible otherwise.

I have had mine since January 2022 and the battery life is good.  Maybe six days on average.  It syncs on its own and I get my call and text notifications.

My only complaint is the terrible clock faces.  I want to steps on its own screen.  IT is too small for my 45 year old eyes, as many have commented.
