App “find my phone” suddenly not responding properly.

Up to recently my app “find my phone” worked very well with my Luxe Fitbit. Suddenly when using the app the phone responds with the occasionally peep. I have not changed anything, the volume is on full, the phone has been switched on and off. Any tip is welcome. Thank you.

I have checked everything I could think of: volume on phone is loud, Bluetooth connection is on, Turned on and off, I have deleted and re installed the app, the device is connected to the phone. The strange thing is, if I open the app and use Find my phone it works. If I close the Fitbit app the connection is not working although phone and app are still connected. Any idea what I could do? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Make sure it is not a phone ringing issue.
Check your phone's volume setting.  If possible, try calling yourself from another phone to make sure it is ringing okay.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I think I have sorted it now. Restarted everything for the second time and
it seems to work. Thank you.
