Can't change the settings on my Luxe

Got my Luxe for Christmas and it synced to my app immediately and I was pleased with the clock display.  Got used to the various swiping methods and planned to set it up fullly once I got home from Xmas travel.  Have tried several times to change settings, to no avail.  Can't reset it to turn on automatically, can't set it to accept notifications, and can't seem to turn off the DND.  I think it's defective.  Have reset (on charging cord) and thoroughly studied the manual.  Don't think it's my lack of knowledge at this point!  How do I exchange when it was a gift?

Hi there, @misprint. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Luxe before reaching out.

It seems like your Fitbit Luxe is in sleep mode. When the sleep mode setting is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders to move are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The Always-On Display clock face is turned off.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in the quick settings.

To turn off Sleep Mode, please see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

Hope that helps.

Thank you!  I wasn't able to change any of the settings, but alas, I was able to change from sleep mode and I think that resolved my issue.  Time will tell.

Yea!
