I deleted and switched of everything regarding to periods and menstration in the Fitbit app. But it still is on my luxe display.

Hi there, @LiesbethHB. Welcome on board. Thanks for already trying to troubleshoot this inconvenience with your Menstrual Health Tracking before reaching out.

Please note that the menstrual health tracking app cannot be deleted from your Luxe. Now that you've deleted all your periods in the Fitbit app, you won't get any notification on your Luxe or Fitbit app regarding menstrual health. Though, the tile will remain on your Luxe.

Hope this clarifies your inquiry.

hello Maria,

I find this very annoying. How can i get it of my luxe? Change my sex into man of gender neutral? I don’t have a period anymore… luckily 😉  My charge 2 doesn’t show this tile.

Update: Ps the luxe still says: menstrution day 1, 2 etc

greetings,

Liesbeth

You can't delete the app but if you delete all the data you have, the notifications won't show up.  That's what I did and I hid it in the Fitbit app.  Now I don't see anything related to the menstruation on my luxe.

@leslieeh Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and trying to help! What you did is what we advice if you don't want to receive any notifications related to menstrual health on your Fitbit device anymore. Glad to hear the steps worked for you.

@LiesbethHB Thanks for sharing those extra details. I'm afraid that's an expected behavior. If you did log any information in your Menstrual Health Tracking in the Fitbit app right after getting your Luxe, so this tile will start appearing on your Luxe from that moment, and it won't go away even if you change your gender. This would haven't happened if you have never logged any data on the menstrual health app in the first place.

The only way that the Menstrual Health tile will go away from your Luxe is if you perform a factory reset. However, take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account, your applications, alarms, etc.

If you're willing to do a factory reset, please follow the steps below. But first, make sure you sync your Luxe so you save all your recent data:

  1. Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app.
  2. Open the Settings app > Device Info > Clear User Data.

Once you've done the above, you can set up your Luxe again. For more information, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?. Please bear in mind that if you log any information on your menstrual health tracking in the Fitbit app again, this tile will yet again appear on your Luxe.

As a recommendation, I'd also try hiding the menstrual health tile in the Fitbit app. To do so:

  1. On the Today tab, tap Edit.
  2. To add a stat tile, swipe down and find the stat you want to add > tap Add. To hide a stat tile, tap the X icon on the stat you want to remove.
  3. Tap Done.

Hello Marre,

I’ve taken all the steps. But it still is on my luxe. I didn’t insert any information in the menstruation app. The only thing i can’t remove are the days (minimum 1 for period and maximum 100 for cyclus). For your information I had a charge 2 before my luxe and had allready removed the tile under today. Hope you have another solution.

Wow,,,, I just purchased Luxe and I'm on my day 4. While I like the feature that I can track my menstrual cycle, I don't want it to be on my device.

I just contacted the customer service about this and he/she says I can get rid of it from my device.

But doesn't seems so easy to do it.

Please remember that not all women want to have this function on the device. My period is so irregular and it is very stressful. Luxe has some stress management feature and that's a part of reason I bought it.

But now, every  time I see Luxe, I see menstrual health feature that gives me the major stress....and this is not even showing accurate cycle days... just like LiesbethHB said, mine is showing " Day 2" when it is not.

With all the advanced things Fitbit can do, but we cannot select it not to be on the device is bizarre and disappointing.

😞 I followed all the instructions, but no luck so far. And what about when you don’t have a period anymore or are pregnant? But hopefully there is a solution really soon!

I like the feature and use it occasionally, but don’t want it to clog up my display. I like the sleep and exercise too but don’t want to see it every time I scroll through my display either. We should have control over what’s displayed on the device.

@LiesbethHB Sorry to disappoint you but Fitbit has already stated what we, users, would like won't be implemented (I've never seen Fitbit changing its minds following an already taken decision). Proof is that also the newest flagship tracker of Fitbit retains the same, non customizable, solution.

I'm nearly 75 and have not menstruated for almost 25 years. I don't WANT the tile on my luxe, taking up space. Surely there could be an ability to substitute another health interest tile.
