Will the Luxe have the ability to switch off the Bluetooth if desired? Many in the community would like to be able to have this option, and it seems like a software function that would be easy to incorporate. It would be nice if you could turn it off, and then have it come back on when charging to sync with your phone.

Thank you for your interest in the Fitbit Luxe.
The Luxe doesn't have the ability to switch off the Bluetooth if desired and our team does not currently have plans to release this feature. However, if there is any change, it will be communicated in this Feature Suggestion.

As much as I love the Luxe, I have to return it because of this. This is very disappointing coming from Fitbit. This was going to be my first fitness watch ever, but when I tested for the EMF on the Luxe, the readings was too high to be worn 24/7... Most likely it was coming from the Bluetooth that was constantly on. Being that Fitbit has been in the market for while, y'all couldn't even add such a simple feature to turn off Bluetooth for those who are cautious about radiation. Maybe I'll give y'all another shot when you decide to add the off feature for Bluetooth, but for right now, I will not recommend it.

Even thought it meets FCC & IC requirements doesn't mean it is safe for everyone. Please do consider to add that feature in the near future. I'm pretty sure many will appreciate that.

That isn’t good enough. I was given a Luxe for Christmas. But now I will have to return it and look for another brand that allows users to turn off both Bluetooth and gps. Because of those issues, I will not wear this watch enough to get anything out of it.

Please consider adding the feature. It really only requires a small code change to the existing apps.
imagine that when I wear it on my wrist and hold my baby this watch is pressing on her heart. Has anyone done any studies on that? Equally when sleeping people like to sleep on their hands/arms meaning the watch is super close to their heads.
or shall we stop using those? It would be a shame.
