Can you make the Luxe auto-stop an exercise once it's been off your wrist for a while?

Hi folks, I got a Luxe recently and I was wondering if I could somehow make it know that I took it off a while ago so it should stop the exercise that's running?

I need that because I'm using the interval one as a looping timer rather than an exercise and I'd like to save battery where I can.
