Difficulties with notifications and distance recorded-Luxe

a while ago my luxe stopped giving text and phone message alerts.... then mysteriously it started again.  Well that lasted only a short time...

So I am back to not getting advice re texts and calls;  and sometimes I get long vibrations as if i have reached my step goal - sometimes after walking for only about 20 minutes;  and today, the walk I often do, which I know is 6-7 kms, registered as being 2.14 km.  Had the right number of steps, and the map looked good, but about 4-5 km short of reality...

Help anyone?  Have done all the usuals...

In addition, if you haven't done so, please follow the tips in this article in the menu "How do I get my Fitbit device to connect to GPS?".
