Hi 

Do i need my phone with me to count steps on a Fitbit Luxe. Thankyou

Don't need phone with you for to count steps any Fitbit model; tracker stores step count and all other data, then syncs to phone when available, if within a week.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@MarreFitbit  Don't understand why changed OP's topic.  And your reply doesn't seem to match question.  To me, looks like question was just about wearing Luxe, if still counts steps if away from phone.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@Rob1620   The information given by @JohnnyRow is correct.  I just want to add that the Luxe has connected GPS, not built in GPS.  You need your phone with you if you are doing a GPS tracked activity.
