Does Fitbit Luxe alert you when the heart rate is high or low?

My wife needs to monitor her heart rate.

I see the luxe will do this but will it also alert her should it drop below a preset level?

No, there is no such function in the Luxe. The function is available on Sense and Versa 3 although.

Hello @mccltd and welcome to the Community forum.  I want to add that this feature is also available on the Charge 5, if your wife is interested in a tracker, not a smartwatch.

I also want to add some specifics about how this feature works.  Your heart rate must be lower than your setting for ten minutes in order to get notified.  This feature won't help her if she needs an alert for a shorter interval.  I also believe that the alarm won't go off if you are sleeping.  My resting heart rate is in the high 40's and it goes down to the low 40's and has been in the high 30's in my sleep.  I set this on my Versa 3 a while ago and I don't remember getting a notification in my sleep.  I will set it up again -- my default is 38, but you can set a custom threshold -- and I will see if it wakes me up.  I'll let you know.
