Feedback to Fitbit about Luxe

The Luxe fitbit has turned out to be one of the WORST fitbits ever made. Not only does there seem to be a ton of connectivity issues, they have made the band connections SOOOO poor, that it is virtually impossible to switch out the bands AND actually keep your fitbit! Had I known that ANY OTHER band would be problematic, I would have never ever purchased this one.... AND I wouldn't have purchased the new Charge 5 for my husband.  Fitbit, whatever you did with these new fitbits, you GROSSLY UNDERESTIMATED your customer.  People don't like these little ugly plastic bands.  We like to change them up, and with previous fitbits, we could. This underestimation of your p1 customers will eventually cost you in a big way.  Most of us are now searching for other brands that will allow us to switch bands and take care of the other fitbit luxe issues. Utterly ridiculous to cut corners here!  What you need to do is 1. Fix this band issue on all the new fitbits you sold this year... including Luxe and Charge 5.  Then, 2. Offer every single person who purchased these faulty fitbits a one time FREE trade to the ones you have fixed. That would go a looooong way with your loyal customers and help you retain us!  As much as we have spent over the years... to spend ALL this money on what has turned out to be crap! Ridiculous! Fitbit, you KNOW you cut corners on these "new" fitbits, and you need to do right by your customers!

No...  NONE of the bands work AT ALL except the ONE sold with the fitbit.  Had I known that ANY OTHER band would be problematic, I would have never ever purchased this one.... Hi @Srosesmail  I have the Luxe with the original band without any problems. What happened to your band?

Per my detailed post, I specifically state the ugly plastic bands they all come with ARE THE ONLY ONES you can use. However, the vast majority of fitbit wearers like to switch out the bands to leather, or other colors to perhaps match an outfit.  The bands are HUGE sellers because multiple people do this - and have been doing this since the beginning of time.  Perhaps, not you, but literally every other fitbit wearer.  They cut corners, so with these new fitbits, you are stuck with the plastic bands they come with.  Its all detailed in my original post.

Fitbit sells woven, leather, stainless steel mesh and a fancier bracelet style in their online store. The problem with third party bands can often be they aren't made to properly fit the device.

Understood, but everyone doesn't have another $50 - $100 for a fitbit band.  Also, the selection is poor. Third, wearing 3rd party bands presented 0 issues until this new wave of fitbits, and last, APPLE,  Samsung, and many others could care less about the 3rd party add ons because they UNDERSTAND their customer. Literally, they picked THIS as the hill to die on.  Lose a large % of customers over the inability to personalize their smartwatch??? Look around, we can personalize almost EVERYTHING... Phones, phone cases, AND smartwatches. It was a DUMB manufacturing decision that has sullied their brand.  All things being considered, several of us are kind of done after all of this

the band's that Fitbit is selling directly are faulty and folks are losing their luxes. Fitbit knows this. Fitbit continues to sell faulty bands direct to their customers.
