Fitbit Luxe band has a noticeable gap- Refund issues

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi, all

I have the mesh band and can see that where it connects to the luxe there is a significant gap between the strap and the luxe on both connections where the parts of the strap wobble about.

Gap is at least a clear mm each side, at times more as it wobbles about.

The silicone band clips in snugly with no gap and movement.

Is the mesh band supposed to have a gap or is mine faulty?

Thanks for your help!

There seems to be numerous complaints about these bands and i am also one of them have returned whole unit once and now waiting for refund fir gorjanna band, ordered stainless steel mesh it also has the same issue, i believe this is a manufacturer defect and we should all receive refunds immediately

same here I ordered directly from Fitbit as well. I just decided to ship back the entire unit. It has so many issues that they seem u willing to address so I’m not dealing with it.

HI- I'm going through the same situation with the Luxe stainless steel special edition gorjanga strap. It comes out half way and wont stay connected, and they want me to return my entire fitbit, when just like you have said the silicone strap fits and stays snug but the metal does not. I've been going round ad round with customer support for over a month! Unfortunately you are not alone in this Luxe band frustration!!!!

Just put the silicone one on tell them you want a refund for the gorjana band and tell them you are very disappointed in the product. I still would love this band but told them that a manufacturer defect needs to be fixed

An update:

Took 24 days and many, many repeated contacts from my side via various means to get a refund for the cost of the item.

NO refund of the postage I was forced to pay to send it back (£5) despite the return being due to the item being faulty. Think that goes against UK consumer law.

Whole experience has left a very unpleasant taste- have been a dedicated Fitbit user since 2016 having purchased many devices and branded accessories. No longer.

Best of luck to everyone still trying to get their issues sorted.
