Fitbit Luxe causing Airpod Pros to disconnect

ANSWERED

I have a fitbit luxe, an iPhone 14, and the Airpod Pros. When on phonecalls using my headphones, and wearing my fitbit, the headphones continually disconnect and reconnect. I have tried all of the Apple suggestions of resets etc, and have narrowed it down to the Fitbit being connected at the same time. The Fitbit being connected to the phone leads to the Airpods disconnecting and reconnecting every few seconds.

Has Fitbit found a solution for this issue? I see older threads citing the same problem but no resolution.Thanks.

Hi there, @Leah_fm. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot this issue before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you've done, please try the following in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Luxe from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Luxe.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Luxe.
  • Set up notifications again.
  • Once your Luxe is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Luxe first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone. If these steps don't work, try them once again, but this time try connecting first your Airpod Pros.

Hello, thank you for the information. I have tried the above but it doesn't seem to work. The only way I can use my airpods is with disconnecting the fitbit and making sure the app is closed. Is there no other fix to this that would leave the fitbit connected? Thank you.
