Fitbit Luxe didn't record my GPS map

I updated my luxe today and later went for a walk. I started it on exercise on the Luxe,  have the GPS set it to on and waited for the GPS to connect. However I did not get a map after my walk. Just reporting that there might be a problem with the update.

@vee Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post. I understand where your concern is coming from. 

Please bear in mind that if the GPS signal is lost during the exercise, a map might not appear in the Fitbit app. If you're having issues with the GPS connection, see Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device?

I have the same issue. I have been on GPS-tracked walks and runs now three times, but the sessions didn't get tracked properly. For the walks it shows only a straight line with some milestones, and for the run, it only shows the point where I finished my run. The GPS tracking was on (there was a GPS-tracking notification on my phone) and I was running in an urban area. Quite pointless to be honest.

I realized that my location sharing was set to share only while using the app. After I changed it to sharing always, the map was recorded correctly.

My Charge 4 records the map but my Lux won’t. Till I get this solved I will go back to my Charge 4. I’ve tried all the meditators tips and nada.
