Fitbit Luxe didn't vibrate when I reached my step goal

I had a charge 2 before and when I hit the 10,000 target the watch would vibrate and show an icon. I have just purchased a luxe and I hit my goal but the watch didn’t vibrate. How do I set it up?

Hi there, @Creatif. Welcome to the Community Forums.

To change your main goal, see How do I change my main goal on my Fitbit device?

Please take into consideration what @JeSuisBon has mentioned regarding DND or sleep mode. When the do not disturb setting is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The do not disturb icon illuminates

     in quick settings.

When sleep mode is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist. To wake Luxe, firmly tap the screen twice.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in quick settings.

Sleep mode turns off automatically when you set a sleep schedule. For more information, see Adjust settings

You can't turn on the do not disturb setting and sleep mode at the same time.

If your Fitbit Luxe is still not vibrating after checking the above, see Why didn't my Fitbit device alert me?

A common mistake that people make is leaving DND (Do Not Disturb) on. When DND is on, any notifications or goal celebrations won't make the tracker vibrate or turn the screen on.

Make sure that DND is off and that Sleep mode is equally turn-off (Sleep mode also silences notifications and goal celebrations).

Hope you found this helpful!
