Is there any way to change the font size of the new Luxe?

Agreed!  Tried to read a text today and with the smaller font I could at least tell if it needed an urgent response... Now it is useless.

FitBit needs to listen to customers and offer the option for large and small font.

It would be nice to have the time on the first screen only. Then as you tap you would be able to see steps, minutes and heart rate each on their own screen.

That would work as well, I just like seeing more info on my screen.  If my Charge 3 hadn't died and I had to buy new immediately I would have waited and picked up the Charge 5.  Form factor for the Luxe is great, just wish it was a little bigger.

Totally agree. The large font is terrible. I came here looking for a setting to change it back, then joined to voice my displeasure. I've never liked a tracker/watch enough to keep it longer than a couple months, but I really like my Luxe and I'm hoping this doesn't ruin it for me. Please let us choose the font size.

Oh man, I should have known to read the forums before blindly updating.

I understand many wanted a larger font, add me to the list of those wishing I could change it back to a smaller one.

Hi Marre Fitbit,

I bought my new Luxe to replace my Alta HR which failed after 1.5 years. I really like the Luxe, except, like others posting here, the display is all time and nothing fitness ( ie steps, heart rate, etc. ). The fitness items remain difficult to read even resting, let alone during exercise of any kind.

This has been a subject here since June, about four months. Your original answer was that Fitbit is aware of this problem and "working" on it. I just talked to an Advisor this morning. We went through the available faces and there is still nothing with smaller time, larger fitness numbers. He also said it's working.

Just how long does this take, anyway? It would appear to be a software issue programming in a new face with slightly different viewpoint. You already have numerous such options, what does it take to add one or two more? This is way too much time for something you should have gotten right in the first place.

Please allow me to note that this is a fitness BAND, not a fitness WATCH. If I wanted a large watch function, I would have bought something else.

The original defect and slow response are both irritating and inexplicable. This is my third Fitbit ( after two Alta HRs which you no longer offer ).

Please advise ASAP when Fitbit will have the additional faces with larger fitness display available for download.

I feel the same.  My Charge 3 died (well the screen became unreadable in all but a fully dark room) so I replaced with the Luxe.  I like the size but wish I had gone without for a few months and picked up the Charge 5.

I think it would be nice to have the clock face on the initial double tap then when you tap again have step, then heart rate, then minutes and back to time. The stats are hard to see sometimes with the time there. I have the colored clock face, not sure of the name, for my setting.

This. I wish I would have known before I updated it. Now the font size is huge and not very useful on such a small watch. Why would they take feedback like this and just assume everybody wants the font huge? They need to add an option to choose normal or huge font.

hello,

it’s now October 2021 and no fix?

Please advise when an update will allow the data we wish to see, as in a readable font size, will be available.

I’m actually considering  giving the Luxe away as I can’t use it at the moment, and don’t think I could sell it with a clear conscience.

thanks.

Hi Marre Fitbit,

You have multiple posts about the font size for the fitness information and no current reply. So, again, just when will Fitbit get around to addressing this issue? Are you even moderating and checking? This has been on this forum since June ( ! ) and multiple recent posts in October requesting follow up. The large time and small, almost unreadable fitness information does NOT make any sense. This is a fitness band, not a watch, and we would have bought watches if that was what we wanted.  Please respond!

So since this says answered does that mean as far as Fitbit and this forum is concerned the topic is closed?

I formally request a way to downgrade to the previous update where the text is not so large, is that completely unreasonable?

Do I need to start another post with this formed as a question to get more views or something?

would like to back to the HR Alta

I agree. I am more interested in my stats than the time. A watch can tell time. I wish steps, heartrate, etc were bigger & time smaller.

Here it is February of 2022.  I just got my Luxe less than a week ago.  I used to use an Alta HR where the steps and such were easily readable.   I see this font size issue on the Luxe has been requested (and promised) for well over 8 months.  So Fitbit....  when will you make Luxe faces that are actually readable for things like steps, active minutes, calories burned, etc?  After all, this is a FITNESS TRACKER, right?

100% agree. I bought this for my mum on Mother’s Day.  And she can’t read the time or the calorie count. I’m surprised at how small the font is, as it’s barely readable. And not fair for older people, who also want to keep track of their fitness. Had to return this.
