Fitbit Luxe font size is too small

Is there any way to change the font size of the new Luxe?

I conquer, the font size is barely visible. I was very disappointed and returned the Luxe and purchased the Versa 3. I absolutely love it, the screen & the font size is amazing. I can see the words without having to strain my eyes. I am one happy camper with my new fitbit.

My wife and I have had 6 fitbits, and an aria scale.

The font size is really the only oversight of this product - you need some people from an older demographic to test your proto-types!

We will return the fitbit luxe within 30 days to the retailer if the font size issue isn't resolved and get apple watches.

I get other people's comments that the screen is deceptive and the digital surface is smaller than you think, but the time display is just fine.

The product is superb in every other way... please fix this soon.  When can we expect the next version to drop?

It appears that the Luxe font size is not an issue with fitbit and it hasn’t been resolved or will it ever get resolved. In the meantime, I had a return policy window and I was not gonna get stuck with something I’m unhappy with. In my eyes that is stupid. You keep waiting for the font size to change. In the meantime I will enjoy a product that I can read the font size. By the way, I don’t recall asking you for any money. Periodt

I'm sorry I wasn't more clear.  I truly mean I hope you enjoy the Versa.  It does look like a great smart watch - definitely looks like a step up from the Luxe!

Definitely you want to return the watch if it doesn't work for your needs and get something you are happy with - no doubt.

I was jokingly pointing out if we both get more expensive fitbits than the luxe, then the message we are sending to fitbit is "don't fix the font size, it's better if they simply bring it back and buy the more expensive fitbit smart watch!"  I know that's not what they are thinking, I was just joking.

I don’t trust it will be anytime soon. Since I’m in my 45 day return window, and the Charge 5 is a color display, I returned it.   Going back to my charge 4 (Although the display on the 2 was the best) and purchasing the Charge 5 with a pretty new band from an off brand company )or Etsy)

@tristaner, what you say makes a lot of sense.  I will show my wife the Charge 5 when she gets home... She has a few more days left in the return time frame. she REALLY like the slender look of the Luxe and Alta HR before it... the Charge 5 is narrower than the 2,3, and 4, and I wonder if the fonts on them will be smaller too...

Maybe time to check out the apple watch...

My only issue with the Apple Watch, is that, like your wife I like the
slender look of the Charge- so also the Luxe...
Just hope the Charge 5 is easy to read The Charge 2 was very easy to read,
I could even read text notifications- every Charge since was less brightly
lit and more difficult to read. Hoping the Charge 5 uses the same font
size as the Charge 2

Wow, so much rudeness here. Berating and browbeating the moderators is not going to accomplish anything except make you look like really unpleasant people. The moderators have no way of knowing when firmware updates will be released, that’s up to the developers. I’m sure if they had a firm date they’d tell you.

Oh my goodness, this appears to me more of a device to tell time, aka a watch, rather than a step tracker. My Alta HR quit on me and I liked the small size of the Luxe. This is my 3rd fitbit and I just figured each one would be better than the last. Not sure I like this one.  😞

Great news! The font size was increased in the recent firmware update. 

The Aura clockface has the largest font. The size was also increased for other on-screen text, including notifications.

I'm glad I kept it, especially now that I can read it!

Wow the new update is terrible. My Luxe is now completely unusable. It barely fits 5 characters on a line at a time.

Proof at how terrible this is: go into the settings page and see if there is a SINGLE settings item that doesn't get cut off. This isn't even dynamic text. It's static text made by the developers for the default GUI.

The reason the font was so small in the first place is because the screen is small. You can't have a huge font with a tiny screen and still have a usable interface where you can actually see any content. Please give us an option to turn off the big font!

I agree the larger font is wonderful 

I like a slender tracker

if I wanted to see more at once I would invest in a larger unit

cant have everything it’s a trade off

I tried the set up screens and found it was readable just have to wait a second for it to scroll through no big deal to me

It would be perfect if user could choose font size since we all have different wants

The larger font has made the luxe unusable for me. Nothing fits on one line. This is God awful. Make it an OPTION not a forced update

New update with large font is TERRIBLE. Notifications are useless for me now as I can only read the first 3 words. Why could you not make an option for small and large font.
