Fitbit Luxe font size is too small

Wish I'd been able to look at a real Luxe before buying.  App shows clock faces filling the whole display -- but actual Luxe clock face (Aura -- the one it came with) only fills about half of the display face.  As a result, the steps/heart beat notifications are so tiny you'd need a magnifier to read them.  So disappointing.  Obviously designed by a 20 year old with perfect vision.  There should be a cut off date to buy these things -- not for the over 50 year olds or anyone who wears glasses!  I believe my older FitBit had a better display with half the face area.  And they should amend their app clock faces to show what they really look like real time.

Hi @Gardener22  did you try any of the other clock faces to see if the font was larger? Might be worth exploring.

Yes, it is awful.  And why it only covers half the face I don't know.  And, yes, I tried a bunch of them and they are all this way.  Also, I did a workout and the font showing my HR was so small I couldn't read it without reading glasses!  With other trackers/watches I've been able to read stuff.  This is truly awful.  I am still deciding whether to return.  They have said that they will be increasing the font size but I don't know if that will include the clock face or how much it will be.

Hi I am curious how would an increase in font size look when actual screen size remains the same. I feel that the Luxe has a weird design with wasted black bezels at the top and bottom of the screen, and the actual screen size is only the small square in the middle

Mine is set on “Playful” as there are different options and it is huge. It is under clock faces. Yes, it is only your heart rate and clock and I only need to check the date once a day since it only changes at midnight once a day. LOL! Hope this helps .
