I always logged stairs climbed daily, 2 story house with a basement. But since I started wearing my new Luxe, not 1 single flight of stairs has been counted.

The Luxe does not count stairs climbed.  It does not include the hardware altimeter required for that, so it could not even be added by firmware update.

Hi there, @marmey. Welcome to the Community Forums.

As @JohnnyRow has mentioned, please note that  floors aren’t tracked on Luxe or any Inspire series devices. Although it is designed without floor feature, your device can track as many activities as other Fitbit devices does. For more information about your Fitbit Luxe, you can click this link: Fitbit Luxe User Manual.

Have a nice day.

That info should be included in the basic description of the Luxe. I probably wouldn't have "upgraded" from my HR Charge 4 if I'd have know that.

@kbbeal  Depending where you bought it, I expect you can still return it.  I wouldn't necessarily consider the Luxe as an upgrade from Charge 4 in terms of technical specs, more in terms of style and appearance.

Thanks for your reply.  I'm considering returning it - though I like the style/appearance, functionality is more important to me.

I totally agree. I figured it would have all the same features with more color and options. Very disappointed to find this out. I am practicing fir an Adirondacks climb and I use the total stairs in a hike to let me know where I am in my practice!
