Fitbit Luxe stainless Steel band coming out but staying connected

Hi alla

Does anyone else have a problem with the stainless steel band connectors slipping away from the Fitbit Luxe? It connects flush and looks great, then it comes loose, pulling away from the Fitbit but stays connected.

Wondering if it is a complete design fault or if I just have a faulty one.

In case this impacts anyone else, I’ve spoken to customer support and they confirmed it is an identified fault so I need to return it. Lucky I bought the stainless steel band now as I would never have known about the issue since the silicon band connects fine. But the issue is with the Fitbit itself. 

I’m waiting for them to contact me back as their automated return form has a fault too. 😞

Are you saying this will be the same for all of the metal straps for the luxe? I was going to order the gorjana strap…

I don't know if this impacts any other bands.  My silicone one fits perfectly but they have advised the issue is with the Luxe rather than with the stainless steel band.  So they will need to replace my Luxe.  I hope everything is ok with yours.

So far so good. I specifically got this one as it can be “dressed up” with the gold chain band so I hope it’s not all of the metal bands that it has issues with! Hope you get yours sorted

I’m not sure if everyone is having problem with this but my steel band connect to anything else that’s metal and comes away from my wrist watch at all. I’ve nearly lost the whole thing twice

I have the luxe with the stainless steel band as well and I’m having the same problem.

I have the same problem with my stainless band- since I got it... which is a shame because I love the way it looks. Were they able to replace yours/fix it?

It happens with both fitbit’s mesh steel band and with the gorjana strap. Even happens with third party (Amazon/Ali express) versions of these straps. The design is just not right and wonder If fitbit will ever improve the design of the steel bands.
