Fitbit Luxe stainless steel band attaches to magnetic things all the time

Received my Luxe and stainless steel band. Word of caution on that stainless steel band…the latch is magnetic and attaches to all things like bars stools, refrigerator, stove, corners of the walls, etc. and will

stay attached to said object and rip off your wrist. Need to make the latch non-magnetic on the outside.

Hey, I want to know if Fitbit Inspire HR’s bands can be used for Fitbit Luxe?

Hi there, @KanzaAijaz. Welcome on board.

Fitbit Luxe isn’t compatible with the bands for other Fitbit devices. The bands for Fitbit Luxe aren’t compatible with other Fitbit devices.

After the device becomes available, you can purchase additional bands on fitbit.com

If you have any other questions, visit help.fitbit.com

We hope this helps.

Yes the stainless steel mesh band I purchased from FitBit most certainly is compatible with the Luxe. I purchased them together and replaced the mauve rubber band with the stainless.

My only comment was that the stainless steel mesh bands closure is magnetic and sticks to all metal and can come off the wrist.
A better design would not be magnetized on the outside of the band.

.....this is a bit of a ridiculous post to be honest!!!

ALL magnetic mesh style bands  (for ANY smartwatch - Apple, Garmin, Samsung, etc, etc) will stick to metal objects - that's the whole point of a magnet.......!!!!!!!

Ridiculous to you. They could make the outside of the latch non-magnetic. Thanks for your useless reply.

I am returning the stainless steel band, it attaches itself to any metal object and the tracker falls off my wrist!!! I loved the look of the band but do not want to lose my tracker. Fitbit must fix this issue! The Inspire stainless steel band appears to latch.

This is not a ridiculous post. Yes other bands are magnetic but this band pulls the watch off your wrist

It's 2 years later and I'm having the same problem. It wasn't happening until I peeled off the protective plastic coating. Maybe you can supply multiple of those in the package.

To be clear I just bought mine and it's two years after these original comments yet the problem has not been fixed.
