I'm attempting to set up a Fitbit Luxe with a Samsung Galaxy S8. Despite the fact that I couldn't find the app on the Google store for the s8 I was able to download and install an older version. The phone is finding the Luxe, but after typing in the four number code the Luxe doesn't want to pair and says "Try Again". I've turned the bluetooth off and on, I've restarted the phone and Luxe a handful of times... Getting a new phone just to pair a Fitbit to it isn't an option. Help?

Hi there, @KuuWolf. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Luxe before reaching out.
Which OS is your Galaxy S8 running? The Fitbit app is compatible with most popular phones and tablets. To set up and use your Fitbit products and services, you must install the Fitbit app on a compatible device running one of the following operating systems:
If you haven't done so yet, please see Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Hi @KuuWolf,
I have a Samsung Galaxy as well, you don't need to download and older version of the app. Just type in "Fitbit" in the Google Play store and select the first one that comes up. That's the current version.
Second, you may want to restart both the phone and the Luxe themselves. You can find out how here (click to go there) .
Third, the reason that it may not be pairing with the Luxe is because of the fact that you've downloaded and older version of the app. Older app versions don't necessarily support newer devices, so please be sure you download the latest app, as I suggested above.

This unfortunately won't work due to the age of the phone. The Fitbit app no longer shows up in the Google Play Store for me to download. That's why I had to download an older version. The rest of you're suggestions I have already tried, but thank you for trying to help. 🙂

I finally realized that the phone wasn't set to do auto updates, so it was stuck at Andoid 7. I have now updated it to it's current available OS, so hopefully I can get things to work now that I'm able to download the current Fitbit app. Thanks for the help!
