Hi there, @Zolme1. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Fitbit Luxe before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling.

If you haven't done so yet, please try removing the Bluetooth connection between your phone and your Fitbit device:

*On your phone, tap Settings Bluetooth > the information icon next to the name of your Fitbit device > Forget This Device.
*Open the Fitbit app and set up the connection again. You should receive a message asking you to allow your Fitbit device to pair with your phone. Tap Pair to approve the request.

Sync your Luxe automatically when you open the Fitbit app or manually by tapping your profile picture > your device tile > Sync Now.

If the issue persists, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Regarding the steps you lost, IF you remember the exact amount of steps or the name of the activity you performed, you can try manually logging the activity. For more information, see How do I manually log an activity or exercise?

Hope this helps.

This happened to me yesterday. I had a Charge 4 and when I put he’s this yesterday I was at 4250 steps. It kept showing it was going up but when I synched it would go back to 4250 if this is what is happening to you. I resolved it by restarting my watch, deleting the Fitbit app and then downloaded it again and signed in. I hit forget device in Bluetooth for the Fitbit Charge 4 before I did any of these other things and now it is synching my steps accurately but as everyone knows it gives you too many steps. I wear this on one arm and an apple watch on the other and I already have 450 more steps on my Fitbit than my apple watch and it is only 815 am.

Same here, it unpairs with my device multiple times a day and I have to start from scratch. Delete the luxe, turn off Bluetooth, remove device from the app and restart the luxe. Very frustrating.
I’ve had various Fitbit’s for years and I’ve never had any trouble…until now.

This is happening to me w a new Luxe.  Just got it.   I’ve followed the steps above since last week.  3 times today.  My luxe just won’t remain connected to my iPhone SE.  Tried it on my sons iPhone 8… same issue.  I’ve owned many fitbits, got my family using them too.  Never have I experienced something like this.  I’m at a loss!
