Fitbit Luxe won't stop vibrating when I receive a call

During any active call, the Luxe vibrates every 5 minutes (approximately, I haven't actually timed it!).  It seems like some setting intended to distinguish an active call throughout it's duration, for whatever reason.  It is driving me crazy, I'm on the phone all day for work and it is a huge distraction and annoyance.  My Inspire HR did not do this.  Can it be turned off somehow?

Hi there, @lah1115. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post. I understand how annoying this can be.

I'd recommend setting up the notifications once again. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Tell your phone to "forget" the Bluetooth connection to your Fitbit device:
    1. On your phone, tap Settings > Bluetooth.
    2. Tap the information iconor gear iconnext to the name of your Fitbit device.
    3. Find the option to forget the device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and set up notifications again, then sync your Fitbit device.

For more information, see How do I set up notifications?

Hope this helps.

That is not a good answer.  I do business on my phone and am on it a lot.  This would be multiple disconnects and reconnects throughout the day

I agree - this "feature":

- is extremely irritating - it keeps vibrating while I am trying to concentrate on my call.

- is useless and pointless - if I'm talking on the phone, I'm pretty aware of it. I don't need to be alerted!

- seems to KILL the battery life.

It also "helpfully" notifies me when I place an outbound call. Again: when I place a call, I am aware of it. I don't need to be told.

It's really inexplicable. How is any of this helpful?

At the very least - please make it possible to TURN OFF notifications for outbound and active calls, but TURN ON notifications for incoming calls

Update: I agree. Turning off notifications - or even going on DND - just during calls is NOT an acceptable "solution" or even workaround. It's requiring the user to put in a relative ton of work and tedium, because of a pointless functional decision by FitBit.
