Hi,

I have issue getting my sleep scores in my Fitbit app or device. Only showed the sleep scores for 2 nights and not showing anymore. I have already logged out and logged in to my fitbit app but still the same. Please assist!

Hi there, @Juwenn. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Luxe before reaching out.

Keep in mind that you must see sleep stages in order to see your sleep score information. Please swipe left on the Sleep Score graph, here you can see information about your weekly sleep average and sleep duration. To get more detailed information, see What's sleep score in the Fitbit app?

With that in mind, I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

For more information, see What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

Hope this helps.

Same issue. Only gives detailed sleep score two nights a week now but was working perfectly for months before. I have turned the heart rate on and off and restarted it and this helps for a day or two. Must I do this every day?

Best Answer

It doesn’t give the sleep score when you click on “begin sleep now” on the app, but does give the score when you wear it to bed without clicking on that first.

Update: Do not click on “begin seep now” when going to bed.  Just wear it to bed and it should work.

Thanks, will try that.  But I must say, that is not logical or intuitive - what then is the purpose of "begin sleep now" if that interferes with tracking sleep??

Hello.  I am having the same issue. I have tried the options below.  My Fitbit has not shown sleep stages or sleep score since Feb 1 2022?!  It worked fine before that. Please help. I am ready to just toss out this thing and wondering is broken now and it's not even one year old 😔😥

PS I do not use "begin sleep now" and I always sleep 7-8 hours so it's not a matter of sleeping 3 hours or less.  Ty for your help.

Best Answer

@SherilynA   That "begin sleep now" is for trackers than don't measure heart rate and can't track sleep automatically.  There are many still in use.

Gotcha ok. I don't have that version So it does not resolve my issue at the top of the thread.

Mine just stopped tracking after 3 hrs.  It has worked fine until now.  Nothing has changed.

Did you ever get yours to give you the sleep score?  It’s crazy that my old watch works better than this one and it’s 2 years older.

Yes I did. Turns out you just need to make sure heart rate tracker is
turned on. Somehow mine was switched off and this causes the issue.

Hello Maria... what constitutes 'critically low' with the battery? Mine was on 11% when I woke up this morning and it's the first time it didn't track my sleep. I didn't use the 'begin sleep' option, wasn't wearing it any differently and I'm pretty sure I got more than 3 hours sleep! It's a brand new device so a bit concerning.

I've got the same problem. Battery was not critically low. I tried restarting the device. I tried deleting and re-downloading the app and logging back in. I tried wearing it on different parts of my wrist, tighter and looser. Everything worked fine until the last week or so, and then I stopped getting a sleep score or zone minutes at all. I don't think I've even had it 6 months yet.

Hello! I have the same problem.  My Luxe suddenly stopped tracking my sleep score this weekend.  I've restarted my app, cleaned the contacts, yet still no sleep tracking. Help!

My problem was in settings on my watch I had turned off heart rate. Once I turned that back on it started working again. Hope that helps.

Make sure the heart rate is turned on. That was the issue for me because it
got switched off by accident.

Thanks! I know that could be a fix for it but I actually got a different tracker due to battery issues

I’ve had my Fitbit Luxe since July, 2022. Have always had sleep scores until April 17th- haven’t had one since. Did online chat and phone call to Fitbit.  I updated App to 3.80.  I’ve restarted on watch and using button on charging cable; I’ve deleted data, removed device then  readded to the app, restarted again.  Nothing has worked.  When I called Fitbit last week, I was told this was a known problem and a future update would fix it.  If this is true, when will that happen.  All other functions are working fine.  Please advise if I should throw this watch away!
