Fitbit app stopped showing the hourly activity for steps

ANSWERED

Two days ago, my phone Fitbit app stopped showing the hourly activity for steps. My Fitbit shows them but the phone app is blank on the current day. I turned blue tooth, Fitbit, and phone off and on with no change. What else can I try?

I found a separate thread that recommended deleting the app and reinstalling it.  I did that.  There was no data loss and everything works fine for me.  iPhone on ios18.4.1

Good to see you back in the community @Diddy5050.

Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding your hourly activity.

Please make that you are using the latest version of the Fitbit app.

Try to sync manually as indicated:

1. With your device nearby, open the Fitbit app and tap the Today tab.

2. Tap and hold on the screen and pull down.

Or use the Sync Now option:

  1. From the Today tab tap Devices >  device image.
  2. Tap Sync Now.

My phone appears to sync completely. I typically sync it many times everyday although I don't see where devices can force a sync now. I can see my hourly activity is accurate on it's second page. However, it is supposed to appear on my today page as well and it is clearly blanked out. All of my other Activity tabs show the information there. It is confusing. I turned off blue tooth and turned back on, i shut down the phone and the Fitbit. Nothing has worked.

As with @Diddy5050 I’m experiencing the same with the  Hourly Activity blank on my Fitbit Premium App as well as Mindful Days.

This started to happen soon after the App was updated to version 4.41, 2 days ago, 24 April 2025.

I have done both methods of Syncing as you advised, Screen pull down and Sync Now.  Neither solved the problems.

I believe the problem is linked to the App version 4.41 upgrade. Could the system techs do a bug fix please.

Set up new Fitbit all good then told to update and exactly the same problem as yourself!

I’m having the same issue even after updating the app to the latest version and syncing

I am also having the same issue.  The fix here did not work for me.

This sync has not cured the problem.  Still cannot see hourly activity.

I'm having the exact issue and my steps are showing but when I tap on it to see the weekly/monthly etc data it just spins.  I have restarted everything and then some

Thanks, RJMJR.  I deleted the app and reinstalled per your suggestion.  That fixed my problem, too!!

I just deleted the app from my home screen, did an update in the app store and restored it to my home screen.  It didn't work.  My hourly steps are still blank unless I tap on them and read the chart.

Do I have to delete it altogether, which says it will delete the data?  Maybe it won't since the data is on the server as I understand it.

Deleting and reinstalling didn't help me. It still doesn't work.

Ok, I deleted the app including it's data and reinstalled and it did fix the problem.

It still seems like a bug that updating the app didn't fix the problem. It had to be deleted and reinstalled.

Thanks for the soltuion, though.

You have to delete the app. When you re-install it your information
returns along with the hourly activity.

My hourly steps returned on my phone after I deleted the app and then added
it back. I had previously done the update and thought that must have been
the issue. Before you delete it completely, you should ask one of the
community experts or try to delete it again without doing so completely.

I’ve just deleted and reinstalled the app - the steps graph and goals are now showing (which is what was missing for me) but all the historic data has gone. 😢

I think my Luxe is dying anyway. It’s randomly turning itself off
completely no matter what the battery level is. Especially at night. It
can’t be turned back on until I put it on the charger. It charges to 100
and then is down to 91% in about 15 minutes it’s very frustrating
