Fitbit apps is showing calories only

I lost my Luxe on Friday (that fault with the wristband detaching) and the app obvisiously couldn’t pair with it and started showing calories.

I got my new Luxe yesterday and added it to my account. It is working fine. When I log in to my dashboard in the main site, my steps are all there and Steps are set as my main Gola. I have also checked the app settings and it has steps as my main goal too but only shows calories at the top of my Today Screen.

I have tried removing and reinstalling the app on my Iphone but it is still the same. Tried inastalling the app on my Ipad and it only shows calories too.

How do i fix this as I find it much easier getting my steps from the app rather than having to login to Fitbit.com every day.

Thanks

@AmoMondo Thanks for following the steps I recommended above and the additional details.

It seems like the tiles are hidden, so please try the following:

  1. On the Today tab, tap Edit.
  2. To add a stat tile, swipe down and find the stat you want to add, tap Add. To hide a stat tile, tap the X icon on the stat you want to remove.
  3. Tap Done.

To rearrange stat tiles:

  1. On the Today tab, tap and hold on the stat tile you want to move, and drag it to a new position.
  2. Tap Done.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi there, @AmoMondo. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot this issue before reaching out.

As per the description of your post, it seems like your new Luxe hasn't been properly paired to your Fitbit account. Therefore, the Fitbit app will only show your BMR calories.

With the above being said, please try the following steps in the order listed:

  • Unpair your new and old Luxe from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your new Luxe again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Luxe.

Once the above has been done, please make sure that your Luxe is syncing properly.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for your reply.

I have followed all of these steps twice and it has not resolved the issue.

The new luxe is definitely showing as paired. It is recording sleep and activity from the tracker, so it isn’t that. I can see the steps when I’m logged into my dashboard on the site. It is just the app no longer displays steps, distance and calories on the top of Today page, just calories.

Anything else i can try?
