Hello,

It looks like to be the best Fitbit tracker of all times.

Is there a way to compare it with Inspire 2?

If there is no built in GPS will it still be able to track floors?

In the official info they say it will have SpO2 -good addition to Inspire2

Specs in Fitbit Store don't include altimeter so I doubt floor tracking.

Note that the press release says SPO2 is "coming soon" so will not be available initially.

Yes, SPO2 is coming soon but the device itself has to have the sensor already in place. So I guess it will simply be there.

I hope it will also have the altimeter to track floors.

I also wonder how this will track skin temperature, I saw this feature also coming soon.

My Versa does not have built in GPS but still counts floors.

@Simonsimps That's because your Versa has a barometer, which is used to measure changes in air pressure. This is used to determine floors.

Ooo barometer. Right. Let’s hope Luxe has also barometer to track floors.

Then it would be a super hero slim tracker.

@ted2xusz   Sorry, but @JohnnyRow gave you information right off the specs page in the Fitbit Store.  There is no altimeter listed in the sensors.

Barometer/altimeter basically the same thing.  Barometer measures atmospheric pressure; altimeter uses that to get altitude, or altitude difference.

The difference between a barometer and altimeter is in the calibration of the scale.

The one is calibrated for air pressure, an altimeter uses the change in air pressure, by weight, to determine a change in altitude.

The change in air pressure for a rise of ten feet is less than the weight of a 2X2 inch piece of paper.

So the consensus is that it does not track floors?  If that's the case, I'll pass.

I'm 95 %  confident it does not track floors, but really no need to make final decision now based on people's suppositions when even pre-orders aren't shipping until late May.
