I’ve noticed a few times when checking my zone minutes a few times I can see a pike in one swipe from 65 beats straight to 128 beats when I’m sleeping, I’ve noticed this a few times randomly maybe twice in 10 days or so, usually around the same time, i.e., with the first just after midnight or thereabouts. I don’t believe I’m having any heart issues, I know as soon as I start exercising it usually bump up to high reading after the first heartbeat is recorded, but my heart is not beating this fast. Anyone else had this issue?

Hi and thank you for responding and providing links to check out. In general, my heart-rate tracking is on point (although sometimes it's showing 134 when I check myself, it's not anywhere near there). But generally, when I'm out exercising or walking or spinning, it's good.
My query was around why it would show intermittent readings when I'm asleep where my resting heart rate is between 55-58 I go to bed, the first reading after midnight is circa heart rate of 60, then boom! next it's 128, then back down to 60 again.... I'm sound asleep - and I'm not a 'bed traveller'. I would have thought if I had a heart issue I might see more readings like this.... but that's not the case.
Perhaps it's to do with air temp as suggested, but you can imagine how alarming it is to see something like that and not understand the reasoning behind it. 🙂
