How do I change the clock format on my Luxe?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I am finding this very frustrating.  Instructions refer to “ gear” tab.  I either don’t have one or am too stupid to find it.

I didn’t think I was a Luddite, but perhaps I am.  Could some ki d soul with more patience & skill than me possibly point me in the right direction, please?  Many thanks!

Update: Clearly that should be 24 hour clock!

Hello @Buddy8 and welcome to the Help forum.  You can't make this change on the mobile app.  You need to log in to your account at fitbit.com using a web browser.  Now you can see that gear icon in the upper right in the header.  Tap/click on it, then Settings in the dropdown.

Hi there, @Buddy8. Welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear you're having a hard time tying to change the clock format on your Luxe. I'm sure I can help!

As @LZeeW has mentioned, you cannot make these changes in the Fitbit app as they need to be done through the Fitbit.com dashboard. If you're trying on the Fitbit app, that would explain why you cannot find the gear icon. With that being said, please try replicating the following steps after logging in the www.fitbit.com dashboard:

  1. From the fitbit.com dashboard, click the gear icon Settings > Personal Info.
  2. Under Advanced Settings, find Clock Display Time and select whether you want the time shown in 12-hour or 24-hour clock units.
  3. Click Submit and sync your device.

For more information, see How do I change to a 12 or 24 hour clock?

Hope this helps.

@MarreFitbit   There is a Feature Suggestion asking for this setting on the mobile app.  It is listed as Not Currently Planned and has been locked for comments since 2019.  Fitbit's current devices are only compatible with an Android/iPhone.  It is time for Fitbit to rethink this decision.  Please.

Thanks to you both!  That worked.  Really don’t see why it needs to be so complicated, though.  Why wouldn’t Fitbit just allow the option of 12 or 24 hour clock in their App?  Rhetorical question, I know.

Thanks again. Much appreciated.
