How do I record a walk with my Luxe?

How do you use the lex to record steps on a walk? It comes up from time to time but am I missing instruction or something? How do I bring it up to start the timing?

Ok, this helped, I saw how to record them on the fit bit device. I was not
swiping sideways. How do I get out once I'm done to go back to the main
general steps and time?
Seems like when it records my steps or time and I try to finish I can't get
back to the main time and all steps/start page.
I was trying to record the espresso bike I do at the gym but it doesn't
record that unless I go back and forth on the virtual ride. I know it has
been recorded with the elliptical at times. Maybe I ought to try that. I
was on the bike for about an hour today and it recorded very little. It
does outdoor biking fine but not the expresso bike from Interactive Fitness.

@gospel4you   I have a suggestion for you.  Tap on your profile picture on your Fitbit app, then your Luxe image.  The is a bright pink How To Use icon.  It will help you learn how to navigate your Luxe.  At the bottom of that page, you should be able to find a link to the Luxe manual for more details.

Like @MarreFitbit explained, the Luxe can track activities two ways.  SmartTrack is the auto recognition feature and it has an Exercise app.  SmartTrack can recognize an outdoor bike, but not an indoor bike like the Espresso at the gym.  You need to use the Exercise app with the Spinning shortcut.  The Spinning shortcut is used for any indoor bike.

Still, having problems getting to the exercise I want to record my time? I know you get there by swiping and going down. When it gets to exercise, I can't get it to swipe to a particular exercise and get out when it is over. I can't find the instruction manual the way you suggested either.
