I don’t need 8 hours of nighttime sleep. Never have. Is there a way to adjust the sleep “requirement” from 8 to say 6?

Have you tried setting up a sleep schedule? For more information, see How do I set a sleep schedule in the Fitbit app?
After you find the sleep schedule that works for you, set a bedtime reminder in the Fitbit app to let you know when it’s time to start winding down. 🙂
