How do I set alarms through the Fitbit app

You don't.  Alarms are set (only) on wrist.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi there, @QWERTY01. Welcome to the Community Forums.

As @JohnnyRow has mentioned, for Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Charge 4, Fitbit Luxe, Fitbit Sense, Fitbit Ionic, and Fitbit Versa series, you'll need to set your alarms on the device. For instructions, see On-device.

For more information, see How do I manage alarms on my Fitbit device?

It is very difficult to set the alarm on the tiny screen. I much preferred setting the alarm in the app, and being able to choose the days ( weekdays, for example), as with the Alta. Unless I’m missing something, I’ll need to remember to turn the alarm off on weekends?  And then remember to turn it back on for Monday? The vibrating alarm was one of my main reasons for upgrading to the Luxe, and this reduced functionality is a big disappointment.

When you set the alarm, you can still choose which days.  After you set AM or PM and get the check mark with circle and "Alarm set", scroll down (swipe up) to "Repeats"; tap and set the day, and set "Smart wake" on or off.

Thanks! I’ve figured it out now… it’s just so darn small! Would really love to have the options in the app, as well. Your reply is appreciated!

@Calic0gal Awesome! I'm glad you hear you figured it out. 🙂

Thanks for letting us know about this issue with the small font size, we’re aware of it. However, please note that the text size will increase in a future update. We're working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.

We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

I tried setting an alarm twice on my screen today and it did not go off even though it said it was set 😞

@Vanille Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums. I'm sorry your alarm didn't go off, I understand how you must be feeling.

Have you checked if your Luxe is not set in sleep mode? Sleep mode turns off automatically when you set a sleep schedule. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

I'd also recommend removing the alarm, restarting your Luxe, and finally, adding the alarm once more time. See How do I manage alarms on my Fitbit device?

Thankyou all for your feedback, I have figured it out.  I agree with the font size being too small, I struggle to read it at all.  It would be much easier to be able to control through the app.

once the alarm goes off it is also more tedious to turn off when in a half dazed state when compared to my previous Fitbit.

the idea of these devices is to make life simpler, ease of use and convenience are very important.

What a faff this is. It was far easier to do via the Fitbit app. Back to Amazon it goes.

Update: Thank you for clarifying this. 3 point type is not ideal. Using the Fitbit app was.

I can't see well enough close up to set the alarm on my watch. I think it is done, but does not go off. Why would you remove the functionality from the app? Is there a plan to bring it back  to the app?

I just upgraded from an Alta to the Luxe. I was able to set multiple alarms on the Alta for the same day. Is there a way for me to do that on the Luxe?
