How do you add your own home cooked food?

I cook a lot from scratch and can’t find a facility to upload my own recipe to work out the calories etc. 

 

the websites says it’s possible but the links just aren’t there?!

 

any ideas?

@ArtemisAurelius I'm on the iOS app and I can't see anyway to create a traditional recipe. I can add a custom food, but it's very limited in its use and not at all like building a recipe. You can also create a custom "meal" on the web dashboard, but it's not very intuitive and you still can't select serving or portion sizes.

 

Personally, I use the LoseIt app for food tracking and I pay for a premium LoseIt subscription and it will sync all my food and calories with my Fitbit app.

Thanks for that.
I happened upon Whisk searching for a recipe formulator.... it's a bit like Pinterest for recipes but it also works out all the nutritional value. I'll be using this and then adding as a custom meal.
I put in Beef, Beetroot and Mushroom Stew which scored a very impressive 9.1/10 for nutrition! 
Have a go, see what you think....lots of great recipes on there too and sections for healthy eating.
