ANSWERED

I lost my fitbit luxe on October 24 in an uber. The fitbit app on my phone is still saying I am getting steps in and burning calories?

Thank you for sharing with me the inquiry regarding the information that your Fitbit app is telling you.

Sorry to know that you lost the Luxe.

You might have turned on Mobile track. It is a service that allows you to count steps using your phone even if you lost or forget to wear your Fitbit. If that is your case, Mobile track will add the steps recorded by your phone to the Fitbit app. You can "unpair" Mobile Track from your account.  On your Fitbit app go to the upper left corner, on the phone and device icon. Click on your phone icon and hoose "Disconnect device".
