Inspire 2 versus Luxe

I used to have an Alta HR, which I loved, until it eventually died and replaced it with an Inspire 2.  I hate the Inspire 2 as it always goes into water lock mode, I cannot feel the notifications, mind you they only seem to very gently occur when switching into water lock mode, I find the screen difficult to read and do not receive text and phone notifications.  I have to look for them so no point as quicker to get my phone.  Would you recommend me replacing it with the Luxe model?  Will I get back the features I am missing?  I don't want a big Fitbit, I like the daintier looking models.  Thoughts please

The screen on the Luxe is a great improvement in bright sunlight (if that is the problem you are having with seeing the screen on your Inspire 2).  The Luxe has a very bright colour screen.  It is smaller than the Inspire 2 - a really nice dainty Fitbit.  Some people report finding the text on the screen a bit small.

The Luxe does not count “flights”.  In other respects the two Fitbits have quite similar features.  You can go to the Fitbit store and try the “compare trackers” feature to find out the differences.

@EDN02   The only feature you will lose is the On wrist/On clip option.  No big loss if you never used it.

@EDN02 if when you say “will I get back the features I am missing” you are referring to the features on your old Alta HR, yes, you will get all the features of the Alta (and some extras!).

You won’t get “floor” counting on either.  I remember when the Alta first came out there were a lot of complaints that it didn’t count floors - especially on the grounds that “Alta” sounded just like “altitude”, so it really ought to count floors...

Anyway, if you never had it you won’t miss it.
